Developed to combat the growing impact of filiform corrosion—made worse by increasingly aggressive snow and ice‑melt chemicals—ProShield XGT™ is engineered to eliminate significant filiform corrosion on aluminum wheels while maintaining a factory‑gloss finish throughout the wheel’s service life.
Extensively Validated for Real‑World Conditions
In preparation for its public debut at TMC, ProShield XGT™ underwent rigorous accelerated testing. These evaluations included repeated cycles of extreme temperatures, humidity, and exposure to deicing chemicals—simulating up to eight years of real‑world environmental stress. Testing confirmed no significant filiform corrosion, underscoring the breakthrough’s long‑term performance.
